Summer Camp Program

The Upper Saddle River Children’s Academy will kick-off our summer camp program on Monday, June 22nd and run for 5 consecutive weeks ending July 24th.  Friendship, fun, and new experiences await our 2015 campers.  Children will explore their interests, stretch their imaginations, and nurture their curiosity by participating in a wide array of weekly themed programs.  We have an exciting calendar planned for all and can’t wait to begin the summer with all our great activities.  Each program engages, educates, and entertains through hands-on experiences.  We will be cooking weekly in our new state of the art kitchen. Weekly themes include “Rainforest Exploration”, “Creative Arts and Artists”, “Magnets, Molecules & Mystery”, “Ready, Set, Travel”, and “Anatomy of Me”. We are sure your child will have a blast!!  Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. thru 12:30 p.m. daily.  Accommodations for early drop off are available.

We will engage in Water-play daily.  Children should come to school in their bathing suits, wear water shoes, and bring a dry towel and a change of clothes.  Please make sure all articles of clothing and accessories are labeled with your child’s name. We will cool off under sprinklers, shallow pools, and super soakers.  We will have sand boxes and easels set up on the outside grounds.  Sunscreen should be applied every morning at home and additional sunscreen and ointment must be labeled and supplied by parents. Every Wednesday the Academy will offer a complimentary weekly themed lunch such as pizza, bagels, chicken fingers and pasta.  On all other days except Wednesday, please supply a well-balanced lunch for your child.

Special events will be visits from the ice cream truck, dance instruction, and entertainment.
